Special Power: Her take charge attitude and inspirational speeches actually give herself an allies temporary boots in speed and strength. She acts as a temporary power amplifier. Depending on the energy in her words her power-up can last anywhere from five to fifteen minuets.

Contract with: Rokkubey, one of Kyuubey's race that staked out the United States instead of Japan.

Personality: Before the contract Amber-Lynn was a bit of a quiet down to earth girl. She was in the Girl Scouts all her life and was a very dedicated member. However she was never a very happy girl as her troop seemed more interested in their status than the actual good done by her troop. She was constantly reprimanded for not being chipper enough though she was a very hard worker, great with her hands.

Contact because.... With her family being more or less disinterested in her life, Amber-Lynn decided to invest her life in her Troop. However, unable to fit in, she found herself miserable every day. Her bad mood made it harder and harder to get the work done to help people until finally she broke down crying after being yelled at for not smiling during a cookie sale. She ran off into the inner city where she stumbled upon Rokkube, waiting.

Wish: "I just want to be happy."

Life as a Magi: Amber-Lynn was the first Magi in her small South West Georgian city. She had only a few drifting witches from the bigger cities to deal with until she met her two best allies in combat: a tetsubo wielding Magi named Maria and a Magi with a slingshot named Khalea. With her teammates they were able to best many southern witches. Amber-Lynn was the inspirational speaker, the commander of the group. Whenever things seemed down, Amber-Lynn could turn the group around with her great attitude and strong dedication. Her few years as a magi were the best in her life.

Maria's Death: While fighting a particularly nasty witch with a Cowboy obsession, Maria was killed while stalling for time as her friends fought to get on the scene. It was a rather nasty death. As Khalea and Amber-Lynn made it through the rodeo of a maze to the witch's center, they witnessed they're friend of nearly a year and a half shot dead as a glittering heart shaped bullet struck her in the head, shattering the amethyst soul gem in her forehead. It was at that point Amber-Lynn realized her wish had a terrible downside: She couldn't grieve. In fact... all she could feel as she watched Maria's tetsubo turn to blood and her lifeless body collapse, was utter and blissful joy.

Becky: Becky Allen was a young girl from Amber-Lynn's school where she worked as a tutor in science. Becky came across Rokkubey one day after narrowly escaping a witch's kiss. Realizing that her mentor, the ever happy Amber-Lynn was a Magi, she asked for advice. Amber-Lynn warned her of the danger and horrors of fighting the witches but her voice could not change from the excitement and joy inside her. Judging by her mentor's reaction, Becky assumed the warnings were just jokes. Laughing, she made the contract anyway.

The Walpurgis Night: A Walpurgis Night found it's way down from Atlanta, created from witches from all over the south. By this time Khalea and Amber-Lynn had gotten really good at their jobs. Becky was still very new but thankfully two Magi came in one from Macon (Kendall) the other from Columbus, Georgia (Deja). With Amber-Lynn's inspiring words they launched into battle. They defeated the Walpurgis, but at a cost: Only one Magi survived.

Transformation: Amber-Lynn surveyed the destruction of her home, of her friends. She saw a hand move. She ran over to the tiny hand in the wreckage as the witch's maze began to recede. "Becky!"The little blonde's eye flutter open, the other half of her face crushed beneath the building. The soul gem on her wrist starting to crack.

"Amber...?" Becky coughed, fleck of blood splattering onto Amber-Lynn's jade-green vest. "Y-you're.... s-smiling...a-aren... aren't you sad?" her body shook with every breath, she was slipping away.

"Sad....?" Amber-Lynn smiled laughing as he felt hot tears running down her cheeks. That was weird. She was definitely crying but she wasn't sad. "Of course I'm not sad!" She laughed as the tears fell harder down her cheeks.

"Y... you monster...." the little girl's eyes widened in a horrified expression and froze there as a little CRACK sound followed by a soft tinkling of glass allowed for Amber-Lynn to realize her little friend was gone.

And all she could do was laugh. Laugh and laugh as her soul gem began to cloud up, the green turning black slowly. Her neck began to spiral off her shoulders as her laugh covered the sound of her blackened soul gem breaking.

Giddens hides in the floors and walls of the Giggling Play House and pops out whenever things get near. He works like a jack in the box, cackling and chuckling as he pops out under, over, or beside unsuspecting people. Each Giddens is stitched up in a different location on his big smiling face.

-Amber-Lynn's uniform is based on a girl scout outfit.
-Her chamber walls' poem is based on an old girl scout song.
-The inside of her maze looks like a fun house full of mirrors and toys, things that make her happy.
-The reason for the scars and stitches on her smiley faces are because the wish hindered her own brain so they reflect the brain dead dementia she felt she was displaying.
-The witch is always laughing, but sometimes it sounds more like it's crying.
-Those killed by her witch's kiss are always smiling till the end.
-She's attracted to great sadness. To 'fix it' she kisses them.
